Transfer Process: The service vehicle will pick you up from your hotel, and you will head to your first stop accompanied by your tour guide. Both the driver and the guide are responsible for ensuring you have a smooth and comfortable trip. Additionally, the guide will explain everything you need to know about the places to visit and the attractions.
Derinkuyu: The first stop of your tour will be Derinkuyu. This city is the largest and most popular among the 36 underground cities in Cappadocia. The underground city will impress you with its size, as it consists of eight levels, including a winery and kitchens among other rooms. It is important to note that only four levels are accessible. Upon arrival, your guide will share interesting facts about the underground city.
Uçhisar Castle: Uçhisar Castle forms the highest rock formation in Cappadocia. The guide will provide a detailed explanation of its history and significance. Be sure to take beautiful panoramic photos during your time there.
Göreme Panorama: The first stop of your tour is Göreme Panorama. From here, you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of Göreme town. Make sure to take stunning photos of the fairy chimneys in the area.
Pigeon Valley: A short photo break is given at Pigeon Valley, located at the foothills of Göreme. Take the opportunity to admire nature and enjoy the panoramic view of the area. An interesting point is that the valley gets its name from the ancient pigeon houses carved into the rocks. The guide will provide an interesting description of the valley and inform you of everything you need to know about the area.
Göreme Open Air Museum: This impressive open-air museum, which will be the second stop of the tour, is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List due to its historical significance. The area, featuring churches built into the rocks and carved chapels, represents an important site from the early Christian period.
Paşabağı Fairy Chimneys: The valley is an ideal place to observe and admire three fairy chimneys.
Avanos: After your lunch break, we will continue the tour towards Avanos, feeling energized and relaxed. The region has been the center of “Terracotta Art”since the Hittite period, around 2000 BC. This small town is situated right next to the longest river in Türkiye, the Kızılırmak. In Avanos, pottery art is still vibrant, and during your visit, you will have the chance to visit a traditional pottery workshop. The potter will demonstrate the traditional pottery procedure, and you will have the opportunity to participate in the making process. Here, you can see various pottery products and purchase souvenirs.
Devrent Valley: The bus will then continue towards Devrent or Imagination Valley. This valley is known for its unusual and unique rock formations. The rocks in Devrent Valley often resemble many animal shapes, such as dolphins, snakes, and seals. The most famous rock found here is one that resembles a “giant camel”. This magnificent tour ends when you arrive back at your hotel.
